Juddmonte receive HWPA Owner Of The Year Award

Juddmonte has been awarded Owner of the Year at the 2024 Horserace Writers and Photographers Association (HWPA) 58th Derby Awards, which was announced at yesterday's Derby Awards Lunch at the Lancaster Hotel in London.

Voting is open to all members of the HWPA with the awards presented every December, celebrating the best work of racing’s journalists, broadcasters and photographers whilst also voting for leading jockeys, trainers and owners from each year.

Juddmonte was considered for the Owner of the Year award alongside a shortlist of Sheikh Mohammed Obaid, Coolmore and partners, and JP McManus.

Prince Khalid Abdullah was named HWPA Owner of the Year in 1986, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2017. It is a great honour for Juddmonte to be voted following the 2024 success of the racehorses, highlighted by Bluestocking in the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe.
