
HR Assistant
Part-time - 25 hours per week
Newmarket, Suffolk
Due to the relocation of our current HR Assistant, we are now seeking a competent administrator who has previous experience within the thoroughbred breeding industry, strong people skills and a flexible, pro-active approach to their work.
The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for our UK employees, alongside providing administrative support to our HR Advisor. The role encompasses all aspects of HR administration, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, maintaining employee records, organising training programmes and being involved in ad hoc HR projects.
Required skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, within tight deadlines.
- Strong organisation & prioritisation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Discretion and understanding of the need for confidentiality
- Confident team player with the self-motivation and ability to work independently.
The role is office-based, working Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times to suit.
