Gardener

Juddmonte is a leading international horseracing and thoroughbred breeding enterprise with farms in the UK, Ireland and USA; owner-breeder of over 100 Group/Grade 1 winners including Frankel, Enable & Kingman.
We are now seeking a Gardener to join our small and friendly gardening team to help develop and maintain the grounds at our European Headquarters, Banstead Manor Stud.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- practical gardening/horticulture experience; preferably with, or working towards, a Level 2 horticulture qualification
- good plant knowledge
- experience of preparing, planting and maintaining beds on a large scale
- familiarity with maintaining and repairing lawns
- ability to operate and maintain plant and machinery
- pride in maintaining a consistently high standard of work
- conscientious with a strong work ethic
- self-motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
- knowledge and experience of woodland and fence maintenance would be advantageous

Due to the nature of the position, candidates must be physically capable of carrying out the role in all seasonal weather conditions and hold a full UK driving licence.
